Welcome to ProveIt ("ProveIt", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our website, application, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use ProveIt.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.

1. Description of the Service

ProveIt is a software service that allows users to:

  • Connect read-only revenue data from third-party payment providers (such as Stripe)
  • Automatically update their X (formerly Twitter) bio with revenue metrics
  • Create public proof pages displaying selected revenue information

ProveIt does not process payments on your behalf and does not control third-party platforms.

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have authorization to connect any third-party accounts you link to ProveIt
  • Provide accurate and lawful information

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Authentication is handled by third-party providers, and ProveIt does not store raw passwords.

3. Third-Party Services

ProveIt integrates with third-party platforms including, but not limited to:

  • Stripe
  • X (Twitter)

By using ProveIt, you acknowledge that:

  • These services operate independently of ProveIt
  • Their availability, accuracy, and policies are outside our control
  • ProveIt is not responsible for outages, API changes, rate limits, restrictions, or errors caused by third-party services
  • Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms

4. Stripe Data & Revenue Accuracy

When you connect Stripe:

  • You grant ProveIt permission to access read-only revenue data
  • Revenue figures are displayed as returned by Stripe
  • ProveIt does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or real-time updates

Revenue metrics (including MRR) may vary based on:

  • Subscription configuration
  • Currency
  • Billing intervals
  • Stripe reporting logic

ProveIt is not liable for financial decisions made based on displayed data.

5. X (Twitter) Bio Updates

By connecting your X account:

  • You authorize ProveIt to modify your profile bio
  • You acknowledge updates may fail, be delayed, or be limited

ProveIt is not responsible for:

  • Account suspensions or restrictions
  • API limitations or policy changes
  • Loss of profile data or formatting

You may disconnect ProveIt at any time.

6. Public Proof Pages

If you enable a public proof page:

  • You consent to making selected information publicly accessible
  • You understand that third parties may view, share, or reference this data

ProveIt is not responsible for:

  • How others interpret your data
  • Misuse, scraping, or redistribution by third parties
  • Reputational or business consequences

You control whether your proof page is public or private.

7. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

  • Payments are processed via Stripe
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
  • Fees are non-refundable, unless required by law or explicitly stated
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent revenue or ownership
  • Use ProveIt for unlawful or deceptive purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or abuse the Service
  • Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using ProveIt at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are violated
  • Required by law
  • The Service is discontinued

Termination does not affect obligations incurred prior to termination.

10. No Warranties

ProveIt is provided "as is" and "as available".

We make no warranties regarding:

  • Availability
  • Accuracy
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Error-free operation

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • ProveIt shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the previous 12 months

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
